You're probably here because you're engaged and planning a wedding. Welcome, and congrats!
If you want to know why it is that I became a Celebrant, then the answer is simple: I am a people person (to my very core) and deeply creative. I wanted to put my powers of creativity and charisma to good use in a field that brings joy. And so, my call to Celebrancy was received.
Before becoming a celebrant, I spent the better part of the last decade working as a dietitian, empowering people to lead healthier, happier lives. I'm also a yogi, so whilst managing events such as weddings, and dealing with large amounts of pressure, I tend to keep a cool head and stay zen, ensuring the people around me (especially my couple), feel safe and supported.
I am someone who has always been drawn in to the power of using great and creative language to captivate people. That's why I love delivering ceremony so much. I get to take people on a journey where they experience the full spectrum of human emotion all wrapped up in a half hour window.
I want to help you create a ceremony that will have guests talking about it long into the night. After all, isn't that what it's all about? Creating something that is genuinely a one-off, has all the laughs, tears and most importantly, bucket-loads of heart.
There's no job I'd rather be doing than marrying the heck out of people each weekend. In truth, this doesn't even really feel like a job - more of a joy and a privilege. I'm completely invested in your day and in helping you celebrate.
