Sup, I'm Lara, but my friends call me Laz.

When I'm not marrying folks like yourself I can be found singing around Brisbane in various bands or eating a weeks worth of brie in one sitting (preferably accompanied by a big ol glass of Pinot Noir).

I also enjoy sneaking into Sydney mansions on New Years Eve (true story) and taking over the AUX cord in all social settings.

Why am I a Celebrant? It all stemmed from a phone call with my Mum.

I'd completed a 'Bachelor of Jazz Music' and had no idea where my life was going (obvs, who studies Jazz).

After ugly crying to Mum for a while over the phone, Mum (also a celebrant,  and woman of wisdom) dropped a very casual question on me "Why don't you become a Celebrant"?

SO I DID, and just like that my passion for performing, people and creativity was rolled into one career.
